Hayley Williams is ready for the next Paramore album

She's only just released her second solo album, but Hayley's looking ahead to getting the band back together.

Would you be here for a new Paramore record? Hayley Williams certainly would be, and she's keen to get things going sooner rather than later.

The artist is still enjoying the release of her second solo album, the recently released Flowers For Vases / Descansos, but told fans during a Twitter Q&A that Paramore's never been far from her mind.

Replying to a fan's question as to whether or not she had more original material that didn't make the cut on her new album, Williams replied, "There are more songs, yeah. But I'm not planning on another solo album. And I'm not sure they'd be great for Paramore. I'm ready for the next Paramore album. Let's go."

Williams' debut solo album, 2020's Petals For Armor, saw her embrace multiple influences and also work through her own personal challenges that led her to take a step away from Paramore after touring After Laughter.

In May 2020, Williams told NME that new Paramore material would see the band return to the more guitar-led sounds that marked their earlier material.

"Taylor [York, guitarist]’s mentioned things like: ‘Oh, God – I miss guitars’." she said. “We’ve found ourselves listening to a lot of older music that we grew up being inspired by.”
